In the News....
The news is a great place to learn about science. Throughout the semester, we will take a look at science articles that are trending in the news. Your job...find out what is out there and tell us about it!
After finding a new article:
It is recommended you find articles from the following websites:

You are welcome to use any other website or print magazine, but only if you check it with me first!
When you turn in your work, please reference your source for the article. If it is a print publication, include the title of the book/newspaper/magazine along with the date it was published and a copy of the article. If it is from the internet, include the full url AND the date you accessed the article. There is NO need to print out a copy of an online article.
Your summary and opinion/questions must be typed!
After finding a new article:
- summarize the big ideas in your own words.
- come up with an opinion about what was written AND come up with three questions you have about the material presented
- identify and define three vocabulary words what were unfamiliar to you
